ROLLING START - 8 GROUPS - 8 MINUTE INTERVALS

CHECK IN: Please ensure you check in with our staff at the registration desk before practicing.
BRIEFING: .9:45am at the practice putting green next to the Pro Shop
CARTS: If you have booked a cart, you will be given the keys at check in - do not go to Pro Shop to collect
SCORING: We will be using MiScore for scoring. Please make sure you follow the details outlined in the scoring section of this page. Manual scorecards will also be available for use.

PRESENTATIONS: Expected to kick off at approx 4:00pm, as groups come in you will be able to take place in a live Q & A session with Professional Golfer Glenn Paul where you'll be able to gain insight into how a golf professional approaches the mental side of the game.
PUTTLAB PUTTER GIVEAWAY (PLATINUM MEMBERS): This round will count toward the putt count for the giveaway. Record your putts using the MiScore app. The setting can be activated via the settings. Our check in staff will assist if needed.

THE "MUST KNOW" POINTS
Provisional Ball Rule: Please, please, PLEASE hit a provisional if you hit an errant shot!
If you hit a shot on the golf course and you're not sure if you'll be able to find your ball, you can play a provisional ball.
- The provisional ball is a backup shot played immediately after your first shot, before searching for the original ball.
- You must announce to your playing partners that you're playing a provisional ball and indicate that it's a provisional by saying "provisional" or by using the word "provisional" when talking about it.
- If you find your original ball and it's playable, you simply continue playing it and pick up the provisional ball with no penalty.
- However, if you can't find your original ball or it's deemed lost, you must play your provisional ball under penalty of stroke and distance (which means you'll add one penalty stroke and play your next shot from where you last played).
- The provisional ball rule helps speed up play by allowing you to quickly continue your round without needing to return to the spot of your previous shot if your original ball is lost.
Pace of Play: Aim for a 4 hour round!
- Maintain a good pace of play by ensuring you do your best to keep up with the group in front of you, not the one behind.
- It's a member's day at Sun City, let's not slow them down!
Local Rules of Note: Preffered lies on all fairways!
- Preferred lies on all fairways up to one club length.
- Free relief may be taken on the coring holes in the first cut of rough - nearest point of releif, not on the fairway.

STRICT PRIVATE COURSE DRESS STANDARD
- Shirts to be tucked in at all times in TGC competitions.
- No hats to be worn in the Clubhouse.
- Familiarize yourself with our own dress code vai the Event & Player Guidelines.

- Partly cloudy. High chance of showers, most likely in the early morning. Winds southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h tending south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h early in the morning then turning west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the afternoon.
NO LIVE LEADERBOARD
- As this is a major competition, there will be no live leaderboard. Winners are announced at the presentation and leaderboard will be shown once completed.
PLAY READY GOLF!
- Please make sure you keep up with the group in front of you at all times. You should never be more than half a hole behind. If the hole is completely clear you a very behind. The lowest handicapper in each group is in charge of maintaining a good pace of play to ensure the day is enjoyable for all.
SCORING
Setting Up MiScore
Step 1: Download MiScore from your App Store
Step 2: Subscribe to the App - $19.49 per year (Two Week Free Trial)
- Cancel anytime in the two week free trial period and you will not be charged
Step 3: Click "Add Club" and search for "The Golf Collective"
Step 4: If you are a PLATINUM TGC Member, enable putts in the settings
- To have your putts recorded, go into the settings menu and enable putts.
Step 4: After you check in on the day, click "Comp Guest"
- All members and non-members have been uploaded as guests to the app for the sake of ease of use for the day.
- Do not try select member login as it will not work.
- Select Comp Guest to access the scorecard.
Step 5: Select your playing partner
Step 6: Start scoring
Step 7: Verify scores at the end of the round and submit
Not great with technology? Don't worry, we will have manual scorecards ready for you to use just in case.
PUTTING COMPETITION RULES
How to Win:
1. Participate in 3 out of the 4 majors.
2. Record the number of putts you had via the MiScore app.
3. Have the lowest number of total putts across 3 major rounds to win!
Rules:
- Must have a valid Platinum membership subscription.
- Every stroke using a putter counts as a putt, whether on or off the green.
- Putt count must be recorded and verified by a playing partner; self-scoring is not permitted.
- Submit a minimum of 3 scores to qualify.
- In case of a tie, a putt-off will be held on December 1st at the shootout event.
